Neither rain nor sleet nor ice can stop Rascal Flatts from performing at the New Orleans Arena.
The contemporary country trio originally was scheduled to stage a hit parade at the arena on Feb. 4. Icy roads between New Orleans and the previous night’s tour stop in Austin, Texas, made it impossible for the band’s equipment trucks and crew buses to reach the arena in time to set up.
The show was rescheduled for Sunday, March 13, with all original tickets still good for the new night.
There is no ice forecast for this weekend, so fans likely will be able to sing along with “Why Wait,” “Here Comes Goodbye,” “Take Me There,” “These Days” or whichever of Rascal Flatts’ 11 No. 1 country singles Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney decide to showcase.
Luke Bryan opens the show. Show time is 7:30 p.m. Additional tickets are available through Ticketmaster.com.
