Singer Teena Marie is dead at age 54. Rumors started spreading around in social sites such as Twitter, and at first many people thought it was just the usual celebrity death hoax. Unfortunately later the rumors were confirmed by her manager, Mike Gardner.
The cause of death is not known, the only information that Gardner gave is that Teena was found dead in her home by her daughter on Sunday evening.
Teena will be best remembered by her hits “Lovergirl” and “I’m a Sucker For Your Love”, but also by her collaboration with Rick James in the song “Fire & Desire”.
she wrote the following message for the Holidays on her Twitter account to her fans:
